Tuesday. Waiting time on the "customer service" {Not} phone lines were 24 minutes. Sorry, but I do not have time to sit on the phone for that long. I have already invested over 30 hours of my time since January to try to get my erroneous water bills resolved.
Wednesday. A little better. A 17 minute wait. I didn't.
I did get a little adjustment on the latest bill, however.
Now, instead of being 700% more than I have ever ever paid for water, it is down to only 550% more.
Anyone else have a similar positive experience?
Oh. One more thing. I'm not giving up. Are you?
I had the same problem with someone knocked on the door. NOT HAPPENING because if I take time off or a whole day for the water company to come out, I am on pins-n-needles waiting for someone to show up. Let's get someone at the company to slip us their secret "excuse" list so we can throw it in their face.

I have waited over an hour to no avail to get to customer service. I realized that it is "non-existent. No 800 number? In this day and age with computers, there is absolutely no reason why they can't have a "call back" system. Maybe they should look up the meaning of "customer service". Or does the water company think that they don't have to "serve" the customer."

Hi,
I am not sure who the attorney is on this. You may just want to Google class action lawsuits Cleveland water dept.

My water bill has been very high. I am the only person in the house (no kids, no dog). I use my diswasher once a week. My water bills are outrageous. Did i mention i dont even water my lawn. My meter in my basement runs at times when no water in the house is running ( brand new house); plus, it makes this loud noise when I do use water. I called and made an appt for 9/12/09. The rep said I had to be available between 830 am and 400pm. I sat here all day and no one came. I called s/o at the Emergency number and stated it was not an emergency but asked if they could help. They called a supervisor who asked if there was note attached to my door. That would be they were there. No note was on my door. I know they could not have been there because I opened my front door when I got up at 800 am. I have a small house and you can see me in the living room if you knock on the door. So, the supervisor told the rep to tell me they were sending someone out. It is now after 300pm on my day off and I have been waiting since 800 am. They call back 5 minutes later and say they knocked on the door but no one answered. Not possible. I was home, waiting. I did not have a tv or stereo on. It was silent. I did not go to my backyard. I sat there all day with the exception of going upstairs for 3 minutes. I can hear a door bell or knock easily; my house is small. Now they call back and say they were here. No note was left on the doorknob. I asked what kind of house they approached to see if they had the correct house. Would not tell me. Now they say they are charging me $27 in addition to my outrageous water bill because they say they were here. I had been waiting for them all day (my day off) since 800 am. my house is close to the street and I hear car doors close and people pull up near my drive or in my drive because my house is close to the street. My point, the employee is lying or had the wrong house. Now they are charging me the $27 for coming out to my house when they never did. Anyone have this experience? Do you know the name of the attorney who is handling the class action. I think their business practices are dishonest.
