The Northeast Ohio rumor mill is up and running almost 20 hours a day now.
{Too bad no one can get a job there!}
I am hearing that some City of Cleveland Division Of Water customers who received erroneous bills in the first part of this year have had them reduced. Finally.
Is this true? Please let all of us know, in the form of a comment-below.
You do not even have to put in your real name. I want to make sure everybody who has been affected by this debacle is satisfied.
MUCK CLEVELAND!

Here's my water and sewer bills
Water Sewer
$35.35 $48.74 paid 3/27/2009
$55.94 $26.40 paid 6/23/2009
$192.93 $198.05 paid 10/02/2009
$233.13 $243.89 paid 1/22/2010
It is just me and my wife, we leave at 0500 am and home by 0350 pm five days a week. We sometimes do not stay home all day on weekends. I look at the meter and see that it is not moving at all to make sure there is not leak somewhere. Our bill is getting bigger and tried to call the water division and no luck at all. I am afraid that our next bill will be higher since they are adding more dollar figure to it. What if we cannot pay the bill anymore, are they going to turn off our water?

I too received a delinquent notice at the end of January on my water bill. The amount was 1400.00 and I too have not received a bill in over 9mths. I have written letters to the water company and the Public Utilities Commision of Ohio. If anyone knows something else I can do to expedite this complaint, please let me know.

My last water bill in July 2009 was for $74.28 and a sewer bill of $81.80. for an actual reading. Today, I just opened my new combined bill (October 25, 2009) for the total cost of $1800.00. Are you kidding me?
I call this a rip off and a crime. Hopefully, I can call monday morning and get through to correct this. Is is possible to send them an erroneous bill for say all the time I am spending to correct this. Did I mention that the water company spent the entire past 3 months putting in new lines, taking away all parking on the street, while providing water hoses to all the residents of our street. Talk about a double slap in the face. Something has got to be done.
